Senior Software Tester

Ericsson is a leader in 5G and Cloud RAN technology, with a large team developing 5G Baseband and Cloud RAN software products across multiple international sites including Poland.

• BSc level in a technical field (MSc preferred) or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of New Radio (NR) system design, node verification, and RAN troubleshooting
• Experience in software testing, test automation, and scripting using Python, C++, Java, or similar languages
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and development tools, such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins
• Knowledge of NR Baseband architecture and functionality including UPC UL, UPC DL, ULPHY, DLPHY, MAC, L3
• Experience with radio network test tools, UE simulators, protocol analyzers, and test equipment
• Ability to analyze logs, traces, and performance measurements for root-cause investigations
• Understanding of relevant 3GPP specifications and Linux-based development environments

• Develop and maintain automated test solutions for feature verification, regression testing, and continuous integration
• Verify and improve the quality and performance of 5G Baseband and Cloud RAN software products in simulated and end-to-end environments
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with developers and system engineers to drive product quality improvements
• Contribute to feature systemization, documentation, and continuous improvements of products, tools, automation frameworks, and processes
• Ensure test environments, platforms, and automation solutions are available and ready for software deliveries

This position follows a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote weekly, located in Kraków, Poland.
