QA Automation Engineer

• 5+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and Agile practices
• Experience with UI automation frameworks (Playwright/Selenium)
• Hands-on experience with API testing and REST services
• Experience with Postman, OpenAPI, and SQL
• Experience with end-to-end test planning and execution
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work with technical teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kafka or event driven systems
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter/K6)
• Experience using AI tools in QA processes

• Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Develop and maintain automated UI and API tests
• Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman and OpenAPI
• Perform database validation using SQL queries
• Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies
• Support Agile development processes and Scrum activities
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders
• Use Jira for defect tracking and task management
• Leverage AI tools to improve testing processes and test coverage
