Orca Security is a cloud security platform built to provide visibility, context, and speed across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. The WASP team owns Orca's customer-facing web application and backend, including the public REST API, internal administration tooling, licensing, analytics, and reporting data pipelines.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience
• 7+ years of production software engineering experience
• Strong Python development experience, including frameworks such as DRF, FastAPI, and Flask
• Hands-on Go development experience for backend services
• Practical experience using AI coding agents in daily engineering with insight on their value
• Experience building and supporting analytic systems
• Knowledge of designing and implementing event-driven systems
• Deep understanding of SQL database capabilities within web applications, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience with micro-service architecture and cloud-native services, focused on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Solid understanding of software design principles, concurrency, synchronization, memory management, data structures, and algorithms
• At least 1 year experience as a Tech Lead or Team Lead with proven planning and delivery ownership, technical decision-making, and mentoring skills
• Effective prioritization, organization, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• English proficiency level B2

Nice to have:

• Experience defining team-wide practices for AI-assisted development (agent workflows, review, and quality guardrails)
• Experience with modern analytics and data-pipeline tooling
• Experience building or maintaining publicly published developer or infrastructure-as-code tooling
• Experience owning customer-facing reliability and leading incident response

• Lead the team's delivery: own committed items, plan and groom the roadmap, run sprint planning, and lead backlog analysis
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and R&D managers to align priorities, manage dependencies, and translate product goals into executable plans
• Drive architecture and design decisions emphasizing data correctness, API stability, multi-tenant isolation, and pipeline reliability
• Write clean, concise, well-tested code primarily in Python and Go on critical paths
• Use AI agents to accelerate development, investigation, code review, and build safe agent-assisted workflows
• Diagnose complex issues, evaluate options, and execute optimal solutions
• Manage DevOps aspects including CI/CD, cloud infrastructure on AWS, and monitoring/alerting
• Lead the team's on-call rotation and production incident response
• Run team ceremonies, manage delivery against the roadmap, and support team member growth
• Manage team performance
