Senior IT Analyst (Data Domain)

Jit Team collaborates with a leading Nordic financial group, serving as their premier partner in Poland. Over 200 Jit personnel are engaged in more than 60 projects for this Norwegian global financial services provider, emphasizing modern technology and a Scandinavian culture promoting work-life balance and feedback. Projects are executed in international teams with English language exposure.

• 5+ years experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, IT Analysis, Data Engineering, or related analytical roles
• Proven experience designing data-intensive solutions in complex enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of requirements elicitation techniques and business analysis methodologies
• Ability to transform business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications
• Experience with AI solutions including Copilot, LLMs, and agentic approaches, promoting adoption of new ways of working
• Excellent SQL skills, including experience with Snowflake and MS SQL Server
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt in modern data platforms
• Knowledge of architectural and engineering practices such as Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing, Microservices Architecture, and Clean Code principles
• Experience building and scaling data products focused on data-driven decision-making
• Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and facilitation skills

• Elicit and analyse functional and non-functional requirements with business and technology stakeholders
• Collaborate with Product Owners to clarify, document, and translate requirements into implementation specifications
• Perform data mapping, data modelling, and solution design for business and technical objectives
• Contribute to application architecture and design of scalable data solutions
• Design and support near real-time data pipelines and data-driven products
• Conduct quantitative data analysis to identify issues, assess impacts, and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with developers, test engineers, and cross-functional teams during delivery
• Create and maintain high-quality requirements documentation, including use cases and process descriptions
• Access and analyse complex, distributed datasets and perform statistical analysis when required
• Build stakeholder relationships and facilitate alignment across teams and domains
• Promote analytical excellence by challenging approaches, advocating best practices, and driving continuous improvement
