Senior Data Modeller – Data Vault & Data Warehouse

This is a Krakow-based role with a hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week) for a client that is a leading organization in data solutions focused on transforming complex data into actionable analytics.

• At least 5 years of experience in data modelling for operational and analytical systems.
• Strong proficiency in Data Vault 2.0, Star Schema, and 3NF modelling techniques.
• Hands-on experience with data profiling and analysis on relational and hierarchical data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality standards, and data protection measures.

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Python scripting skills.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
• Knowledge of banking industry models and enterprise data standards (e.g., BIAN, FSDM, FIBO, SWIFT).

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet business, operational, and analytical requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to translate requirements into efficient data modelling solutions.
• Work closely with data architects and data engineers to ensure data structures facilitate high-quality data products.
• Participate in architecture discussions to align with data design standards and best practices.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies, trends, and industry developments to continuously improve processes and automation.
• Assist in ensuring data quality, integrity, and adherence to governance principles through design and review.
