Expert Transformation Portfolio Manager – Technology Platforms

Our client is a leading global financial institution focused on evolving critical enterprise integration platforms through innovative, AI-enabled transformation initiatives.

• 8+ years of experience leading large-scale technology portfolios within regulated, complex environments
• Proven expertise in portfolio prioritization, governance, and senior stakeholder management
• Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, investment governance, and business case development
• Experience with benefits realization frameworks and KPI-driven outcome management
• Familiarity working with central PMOs and enterprise governance models
• Demonstrated decision-making leadership in regulated industries
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process design capabilities
• Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, dynamic environments

• Exposure to integration platforms, middleware, APIs, and enterprise operating models
• Certifications or experience related to portfolio management, governance, or enterprise architecture

• Translate platform strategy into an integrated, multi-year portfolio roadmap with clear outcomes, milestones, and investment themes
• Lead RTB portfolio prioritisation, capacity planning, and delivery governance ensuring alignment with platform objectives
• Own the portfolio governance framework, facilitating reviews, steering committee inputs, and decision-making processes
• Manage the RTB Book of Work, ensuring initiatives are properly resourced, sequenced, and aligned with strategic outcomes
• Identify and address delivery risks early, driving corrective actions with delivery leads and stakeholders
• Collaborate with the central PMO to maintain visibility on transformation progress and benefits realization
• Lead portfolio-level cost governance including forecasting, variance analysis, and investment controls
• Partner with COO, finance, and product owners to shape multi-year funding proposals and investment cases
• Define and embed benefits tracking metrics ensuring measurable outcomes through KPIs
• Promote adoption of standardized controls, processes, and tools across EIP teams
• Coach teams on governance, delivery standards, and reporting to improve overall portfolio discipline
• Provide clear, decision-oriented reports to leadership and governance forums highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities
• Influence senior stakeholders with insights, options, and strategic recommendations
