Senior Data Warehouse (DWH) Analyst – Financial Sector Expertise

This position is with a client who is a leader in the financial sector, focusing on transforming complex data into strategic insights. The role is based in Poland in the cities of Warszawa, Wrocław, and Gdańsk, with a remote work model requiring one day per week in the office.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business-System Analyst or Data Analyst working on data warehouses.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience in designing universal data models.
• Extensive SQL skills (any technology).
• Experience in mapping data sources and creating data integration processes.
• Familiarity with the financial industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Databricks is advantageous.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to have:

• Experience working with cloud technologies, especially Azure and Databricks.
• Certifications related to data modeling or cloud platforms.

• Gather and analyze user requirements, translating them into comprehensive data models for data warehouses and reports.
• Define target data models for specific changes or projects.
• Identify source data and establish precise mappings between source and target systems.
• Develop and test prototypes using SQL within predefined templates.
• Support developers in implementing changes and perform testing of finished solutions.
• Coordinate project activities to ensure smooth implementation of data-related modifications.
