AI Expert

Euvic S.A. is a well-established IT company with over 5000 employees and 20 years of experience. The company is looking for an AI Expert to join their Managed Team, focusing on artificial intelligence solutions, particularly in developing enterprise document management platforms used in compliance-heavy environments.

• Proven production deployment of solutions using Semantic Search, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), or vector technologies
• Practical experience with at least one vector database or service such as Azure AI Search, pgvector, SQL Server VECTOR, Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or Elasticsearch/OpenSearch Dense Vectors
• Experience designing document chunking strategies and retrieval processes based on embeddings
• Knowledge of search quality evaluation techniques like recall, precision, hybrid search, and reranking
• Ability to independently design AI solution architectures and make technological decisions
• Experience analyzing performance and scalability of production systems
• Ability to prepare technology benchmarks and present results to clients
• Very good English communication skills for daily collaboration in an international environment
• Willingness to work at the intersection of engineering, architecture, consulting, and presales roles
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem, especially Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search
• Experience with .NET and Microsoft SQL Server technologies
• Practical knowledge of self-hosted embedding and inference models like Ollama, vLLM, ONNX Runtime
• Experience with solutions delivered in SaaS and on-premise models
• Understanding of MCP, AI agents, and LLM orchestration
• Experience conducting trainings, workshops, or technical mentoring
• Experience working with enterprise clients in regulated environments

• Lead technically demanding AI projects for company clients
• Design AI architecture solutions based on LLM, RAG, and Semantic Search
• Assess technological feasibility of AI initiatives and recommend optimal solutions
• Analyze performance and scalability of vector databases and search engines
• Design indexing pipelines, document chunking strategies, and embedding generation processes
• Create performance benchmarks and analyze semantic search quality
• Make decisions on usage of vector databases and AI services in SaaS, private cloud, and on-premise environments
• Participate in discovery workshops, presales meetings, and technical consultations with clients
• Present and defend architectural recommendations to client technical decision makers
• Mentor project teams and foster AI competency development within the organization
• Conduct internal training and establish AI standards and best practices
