MSS Senior Business Analyst - Product Control & Traded Risk

Our client is a major global banking and financial services organisation operating across international markets with a strong presence in Krakow. They provide comprehensive banking, investment, and financial solutions to clients worldwide and seek an experienced MSS Senior Business Analyst to join their Product Control team.

• Prior experience in Markets and Securities Services through a line role
• Strong knowledge of Global Market Products and their behaviours
• At least two years of project delivery experience, preferably improving data quality, governance, and data lineage
• Solid understanding of the project lifecycle, with a relevant qualification preferred
• Part-qualified accountant status is desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, autonomous, and a strong team player with a proactive attitude

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand FX position processes and data capture methods
• Educate Traded Risk teams on Product Control business processes for FX positions and P&L
• Analyse P&L explain data exceptions and identify root causes
• Improve governance of Product Control adjustments through data quality analysis and review tooling
• Manage resolution of data exceptions, including documentation, solution design, testing, and implementation
• Support the Product Control Change Manager with high-quality project analysis
• Work closely with IT teams to assess estimations and provide clear documentation
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and operational risk standards
