MSS Senior Business Analyst

Our client is a global banking and financial services organisation with a presence in major financial centres. Their Krakow office supports critical functions across Product Control and Traded Risk within a well-established control framework.

• Prior working knowledge of Markets and Securities Services through line role experience
• Strong understanding of Global Market Products and their behaviours
• At least two years of project delivery experience in a line role or project team
• Experience in projects focused on data quality, governance, and data lineage documentation (desirable)
• Solid understanding of the Project Lifecycle, preferably with a relevant qualification
• Part-qualified accountant status (desirable)
• Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to produce clear project documentation
• Self-motivated with proven ability to learn rapidly in changing environments
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across diverse stakeholders

• Produce high-quality project analysis and documentation aligned with the Business Transformation Framework
• Collaborate with IT teams to assess estimations and provide clear supporting documentation
• Understand and document the FX position process from Product Control through to Traded Risk
• Educate and liaise with Traded Risk teams on Product Control business processes for FX position and P&L
• Analyse P&L Explain data exceptions, determine root causes, and manage resolution
• Document requirements, agree solutions, coordinate testing, and provide go-live support
• Improve governance of Product Control adjustments through root cause analysis and data quality initiatives
• Develop improved tooling to support control processes and reduce manual intervention
• Maintain internal control standards and ensure compliance with operational risk controls and regulatory policies
