Senior Java Developer/Tech Lead – Microservices

This role is for a client in the energy sector, focused on backend development of critical microservices and real-time data integration systems. The position is based in Wroclaw with remote work flexibility.

• Minimum 5 years of professional programming experience in Java (Java 8+), with at least 3 years using Java 17+
• Over 2 years of experience leading technical backend development teams
• Expert knowledge of Apache Kafka and Apache Camel
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture in containerized environments
• Proficiency with relational databases such as Oracle DB 19c and ORM tools like Hibernate
• Familiarity with version control using GitLab, build tools like Maven, and testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito
• Experience with the Unicorn ecosystem (ECP/EDX) APIs and channels
• Solid understanding of design patterns and software responsibility
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
• Communication skills in Polish (good command) and English (communicative proficiency)

• Define and support technical tasks within the backend development team ensuring best practices and high-quality delivery
• Recognize, verify, and plan technology stack evolution for the Connector 2.0 project
• Lead the implementation of new technologies across project teams
• Provide training and mentorship to team members
• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend system architecture for scalability and robustness
• Program functionalities and perform tests to deliver reliable software solutions on schedule
