Senior AI Engineer – Agentic AI & Software Development

As a Senior AI Solutions Developer at ITDS, you will work with a leading insurance company to design and build advanced AI solutions enhancing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), focusing on agentic AI and RAG-based architectures.

• 7+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in AI, machine learning, or data engineering.
• Proven knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and related Azure ecosystem services.
• Practical experience designing and implementing agentic AI solutions, including context search, vectorization, and knowledge base integration.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Java, with understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, automated testing, and code review.
• Ability to prototype ideas quickly and operate in experimental R&D settings.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, and SonarQube.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication with technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with knowledge retrieval solutions such as RAG, embeddings, and knowledge base integration.
• Skills in cloud automation, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Certifications or experience in AI, machine learning, or cloud architecture.

• Design and develop AI-powered solutions to streamline SDLC workflows, integrating models with applications, APIs, and DevOps tools.
• Build and optimize agentic AI frameworks, including context search, vectorization, and embedding technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, resilient prototypes and technical specifications.
• Conduct proof-of-concept experiments, ensuring rapid validation of hypotheses in a fast-paced R&D environment.
• Integrate AI features within Azure AI Foundry and ecosystem services, ensuring seamless deployment and operation.
• Automate pipeline processes and support CI/CD practices for continuous delivery of AI-enhanced solutions.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing across multidisciplinary teams to embed AI-driven innovations into organizational workflows.
• Keep abreast of advancements in AI, particularly agent-based architectures, to inform innovative development strategies.
