Senior Software Engineer, Health and Home Infrastructure

The Home and Health infrastructure team at Google in Warsaw focuses on resource efficiency, particularly memory optimization, developing tools and infrastructure to help feature teams optimize memory usage. The Health Platforms and Devices team builds products combining Google technologies, AI, health behavior science, and user-centered design to help users manage health data and achieve health goals.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in C++ or Java.
• Experience with platforms and infrastructure development.
• Experience refactoring and working in legacy systems.
• Experience with memory or other resource optimizations.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with large, distributed infrastructure and working across multiple systems.
• On-call experience (production debugging).

• Deliver high impact projects.
• Mentor junior team members in ramping up in the space.
• Work collaboratively with other teams in Home Infrastructure, especially in London, for delivering projects.
• Propose future investment opportunities for the team.
• Ensure high engineering quality in the team.
