Senior Fullstack Java Developer

Apreel Sp. z o.o. is hiring for a senior fullstack role focusing on Java technologies within a hybrid work arrangement in Warszawa, specifically Wola district.

• Good knowledge of Java (>5 years).
• Good knowledge of Kafka (>3 years).
• Good knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud (>5 years).
• Good knowledge of SQL (>5 years).
• Knowledge of quality assurance frameworks for unit testing (JUnit, TestNG, Spock) and integration testing (Testcontainers, Wiremock).
• Knowledge of Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Programming paradigms.
• Knowledge of application containerization.
• Knowledge of process engines and BPMN notation.
• Knowledge of resilience patterns and mechanisms for distributed systems.
• Knowledge of React and experience in frontend application development.
• Ability to adopt AI tools in the software development process.
• Knowledge of tools for performance diagnostics of implemented solutions.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with AI agents and Agentic AI tools in software development.
• Experience with cloud solutions.

• Participate in implementation and development of an enterprise claims system, including configuration, parameterization, and integration with client ecosystem.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and implement them using configuration mechanisms and dedicated components.
• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between the claims system and internal and external systems using APIs, events, integration services, and enterprise architecture patterns.
• Collaborate with an international solution provider on requirements analysis, solution design, error fixing, changes implementation, and release planning.
• Assess standard system functionalities and recommend optimal approaches between configuration, product customization, and dedicated solutions development.
• Participate in designing system solutions considering functional, non-functional, regulatory, performance, security, and maintenance requirements.
• Support data migration processes, environmental integration, and organizational preparation for launching and developing the new claims platform.
• Ensure high quality through development of automated tests, participation in integration and system testing, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
• Actively use AI tools and Agentic AI approach in requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
• Perform and participate in code reviews, configuration reviews, and integration solution reviews using modern tools supporting quality, security, and architectural compliance.
• Participate in scrum events and effectively cooperate with business, architecture, integration, testing teams, and solution providers.
