Senior Java Developer

Apreel Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior Java Developer to contribute to the NABC project, focusing on digital business transformation through integration services and APIs within a microservices architecture.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience developing applications in Java, including practical work with Java 21+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience in designing and implementing inter-system integrations and APIs using REST, JSON, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, JWT, SOAP, and XML.
• Experience building asynchronous integrations using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message brokers.
• Experience with API Management platforms including publishing and securing APIs.
• Experience developing solutions in microservices architecture and deploying them in Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, especially using Bamboo or Jenkins, and version control with Git/Bitbucket; automation of deployments and working with Jira.
• Experience creating unit tests and using testing frameworks for Java.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or Oracle databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Demonstrated independence in solving problems and making technical decisions.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure API Management or equivalent.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience using Apache NiFi in integration solutions.

• Design, implement, test, and maintain integration flows and APIs according to requirements and Definition of Done.
• Actively participate in technical decision-making regarding integration and API implementation considering architectural standards.
• Ensure quality, security, availability, and performance of delivered solutions, including diagnosing and resolving problems.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, Product Owners, and project teams to refine requirements and agree on solutions.
• Participate in estimation, work planning, and technical risk analysis.
• Support team members in solving technical issues and share best practices.
• Regularly participate in code reviews and contribute to developing code quality standards and automation practices.
