Operations Engineer

Jit Team is a Polish IT company employing over 770 experienced experts, delivering innovative IT solutions together with international clients. They have a decade-long relationship with a leading Nordic financial group, supporting over 200 personnel across 60+ projects for this major Norwegian financial services provider. The client emphasizes a Scandinavian organizational culture focused on work-life balance and a feedback culture, working in international teams with daily English language usage.

• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Practical experience with Git
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD processes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with different applications, configurations, and technical environments
• Ability to work effectively in an agile environment
• Good communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)

Nice to have:

• Experience with software or configuration testing
• Basic knowledge of Hadoop
• Experience with Robot Framework
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Helix
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Previous experience in data ingestion, data operations, or production support

• Preparing and maintaining configurations for data source ingestion using the ARC Ingestion Framework
• Testing and validating ingestion configurations before deployment
• Supporting the onboarding of new data sources into the Hadoop environment
• Monitoring and maintaining data sources already running in production
• Troubleshooting ingestion issues and identifying root causes
• Working with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools
• Supporting CI/CD processes using Jenkins
