Lead React Engineer

Join an international team working on modern digital solutions for the travel and aviation industry. The role involves building and evolving customer-facing web applications supporting digital travel experiences such as flight search, booking, and trip management.

• 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Strong expertise in React
• Very good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong experience with Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworks
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns and best practices
• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS
• Experience building scalable and maintainable frontend applications
• Experience integrating applications with REST APIs
• Practical experience with frontend testing strategies and tools
• Good understanding of Git and CI/CD practices
• Experience mentoring engineers or acting as a technical leader within a team
• Good command of English
• Ability to take ownership of technical solutions and drive initiatives independently

Nice to have:

• Experience working in the travel, aviation or e-commerce industry
• Strong knowledge of Next.js, SSR/SSG approaches and frontend performance optimization
• Experience with modern state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Query)
• Experience designing frontend architecture for large-scale applications
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience working closely with designers
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern deployment practices
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) and using AI to improve engineering workflows
• Experience integrating AI-powered features into web applications
• Experience working in international and distributed engineering teams

• Leading the development of modern web applications using React
• Taking ownership of frontend architecture, technical decisions and engineering standards
• Designing and building scalable, performant and user-friendly interfaces
• Driving frontend best practices around code quality, performance and maintainability
• Mentoring and supporting other frontend engineers through knowledge sharing and code reviews
• Collaborating closely with backend developers, QA, UX/UI, DevOps and Product teams
• Integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
• Taking ownership of complex features from design through to delivery
• Contributing to improving development processes and frontend engineering practices
