Test Manager - STP Financial Services

Our client is a global financial services organisation specialising in post-trade settlement and securities services. They provide critical infrastructure that enables safe and efficient transactions across international markets in a regulated environment focused on quality and compliance.

• 8-10 years of experience in software testing, focused on financial services
• Expertise in agile testing methodologies including Scrum, Kanban and SAFe
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, JUnit, and TestNG
• Experience with CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git
• Strong knowledge of test management including planning, execution and defect management
• Domain expertise in Straight-Through Processing and Swift messaging systems
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, and Zephyr
• SQL skills for data validation and test data management
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• Understanding of compliance standards including GDPR, CSDR and ISO frameworks
• Knowledge of middleware testing including Kafka and IBM MQ
• Basic understanding of .NET or Java programming
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or ServiceNow
• Awareness of security testing practices including OWASP principles
• Experience with knowledge transfer planning and documentation handover

• Fluent English communication skills
• French or Dutch language skills are an asset

• Lead testing strategy for Straight-Through Processing applications within agile squads
• Work with cutting-edge automation tools and CI/CD frameworks in financial services
• Drive quality delivery for critical payment systems and SWIFT messaging platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and solution architects
• Shape testing practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies for STP applications
• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases and test data aligned with business requirements
• Implement automated testing frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor test execution, document defects and drive timely resolution
• Ensure traceability between test cases and requirements throughout the testing lifecycle
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
• Support production validation activities and post-deployment testing
• Maintain compliance with quality standards, security protocols and regulatory requirements
