• Fluency in English
• Deep expertise in Python development following clean code practices, design patterns, and industry standards
• Strong hands-on experience with the Azure cloud platform including core compute, networking, and storage services like Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Factory
• Proven experience developing, securing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for deploying scalable applications
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices within the Azure DevOps environment
• Ability to thrive in an agile environment and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Nice to have:

• Understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning technologies
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services
• Experience with ML lifecycle tools like MLflow and Databricks
• Experience working with vector databases for advanced search and retrieval
• Practical experience with AI-specific security measures and model governance

• Build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices in Python to serve data and AI/ML-based solutions
• Design, develop, and deploy backend applications and infrastructure using Azure services
• Streamline model operationalization and create backend infrastructure for fast and reliable model inference
• Write and maintain unit tests, ensuring robust test coverage and enforcing best practices in Python coding
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to transition models to production-ready enterprise solutions
• Ensure all solutions meet security, development, and governance standards
• Create clear and concise technical documentation for developed components
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality applications on schedule
