Senior Tax Operations Project Manager – Financial Services

This role is for a Senior Tax Operations Project Manager working for a client in the financial services sector, specifically with a leading financial institution focused on tax process efficiency and automation.

• Minimum 8+ years of project management experience in banking or financial services.
• 3+ years experience in securities services, custody, or asset servicing environments.
• Proficient in project management methodologies such as Agile, Prince2, PMI; certifications are a plus.
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and stakeholder communication.
• Deep understanding of tax processes, regulatory compliance, master data management, and operational risk mitigation.
• Fluent in English (C1+) and Polish (required).
• Experience with process automation, workflow industrialization, and data governance.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of US tax regulations, especially QI compliance.
• Experience designing or implementing Tax Operating Models.
• Certifications in Agile or project management frameworks.
• Additional languages such as French.

• Lead the construction and implementation of the Single Source of Truth for all tax references across multiple business units.
• Industrialize tax data through the Tax Gold Source Model, streamlining workflows and automating reporting processes.
• Design and roll out the Tax Operating Model Blueprint to transform tax processes into scalable standards.
• Manage complex project plans, dependencies, and stakeholder engagements within Agile delivery frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed tax expertise into client-facing operations, reducing operational risk.
• Coordinate vendor RFIs and regulatory readiness efforts for declarations and reclaims, including US QI compliance.
• Monitor project KPIs and controls to ensure timely delivery aligned with strategic milestones.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior management and foster stakeholder alignment.
