Senior Tax Operations Project Manager – Financial Services

This role is for a leading financial institution focused on redefining tax process efficiency in the financial services sector through automation and industrialization.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in project management within banking or financial services.
• 3+ years of experience in securities services, custody, or related asset servicing environments.
• Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2, PMI); certification a plus.
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and stakeholder communication.
• Deep understanding of tax processes, regulatory compliance, master data management, and operational risk mitigation.
• Fluency in English at C1+ level, and Polish proficiency required.
• Experience with process automation, workflow industrialization, and data governance.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of US tax regulations, especially QI compliance.
• Previous experience in designing or implementing Tax Operating Models.
• Certification in Agile or project management frameworks.
• Additional language skills such as French.

• Lead the construction and implementation of the Single Source of Truth for all tax references across multiple business units.
• Industrialize tax data through the Tax Gold Source Model, streamlining workflows and automating reporting processes.
• Help design and roll out the Tax Operating Model Blueprint, transforming artisanal tax processes into scalable standards.
• Own and manage complex project plans, dependencies, and stakeholder engagements within Agile delivery frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed tax expertise into client-facing operations, reducing operational risk.
• Coordinate vendor RFIs and regulatory readiness efforts for declarations and reclaims, including compliance with US QI standards.
• Monitor project KPIs and controls, ensuring timely delivery aligned with strategic milestones.
• Foster stakeholder alignment across business lines, communicating complex technical concepts clearly to senior management.
