Senior Test Automation Engineer

The company has a long-standing relationship with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, supporting over 200 personnel engaged in more than 60 projects for this major Norwegian financial services provider operating globally.

• 5+ years of experience in test automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Cucumber
• Proficiency in Java and TypeScript for API and backend testing processes
• Experience with automated and manual API testing, including tools like WireMock or similar API mocking and service virtualization tools
• Knowledge of Gherkin, SQL, Jenkins (usage and basic configuration), qTest, Postman, and Bruno
• Experience preparing test cases and test documentation
• Practical experience using AI-powered tools
• Knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, and Angular

Nice to have:

• ISTQB Certification
• Knowledge of BPMN 2.0, UML, and IREB
• Experience working on banking projects or within the financial services sector

• Designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests for backend and frontend applications
• Creating and maintaining test automation solutions using Java, Cucumber, and Playwright
• Performing automated and manual API testing for REST services
• Analyzing requirements and identifying testing scenarios
• Preparing test cases, test documentation, and test reports
• Executing manual tests on desktop and mobile platforms
• Supporting CI/CD processes and test automation integration within Jenkins
• Collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure high product quality
• Utilizing AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and delivery quality
