Backend Developer (PHP)

• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP 8.x, with solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles.
• Commercial experience with Laravel and/or Symfony, including custom portals and integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with custom development on Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce.
• Experience with WordPress / WooCommerce, including plugin development and integrations.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs / GraphQL.
• Experience integrating external systems including payment systems, CRM/ERP/1C, marketplaces, and delivery services.
• Strong experience with MySQL/MariaDB, including query analysis and optimization.
• Experience with Redis and caching mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
• English language proficiency from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to have:

• Experience with PrestaShop, OpenCart, Shopify (apps, APIs, integrations), and 1C-Bitrix (corporate portals).
• Experience with high-load e-commerce projects and headless/composable commerce architectures.

• Independently manage backend development for e-commerce projects and complex corporate portals.
• Design backend architecture and make key technical decisions.
• Select appropriate platform and technology stack based on client requirements.
• Develop and maintain PHP-based backend systems ensuring high quality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement and maintain integrations with external systems including payment services, CRM/ERP/1C systems, marketplaces, and delivery providers.
• Design and implement APIs and system-to-system integrations.
• Take full ownership of backend from architecture to launch and ongoing support.
• Independently estimate technical tasks, identify risks, and propose implementations.
• Communicate directly with clients in English to clarify requirements and discuss solutions.
