Mid-Level Vulnerability Remediation Specialist – Cybersecurity Operations

• At least 3 years of experience in vulnerability remediation, security engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub, including troubleshooting.
• Scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and/or Groovy.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver tooling improvements.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Practical problem-solving and excellent stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in infrastructure or security engineering.
• Interest in AI tools and integrating large language models via APIs/SDKs.

• Triage and validate vulnerability findings from scanning tools and advisories (e.g., CVEs), confirming applicability and impact.
• Own remediation delivery from detection to resolution, including planning, execution, and verification.
• Drive remediation activities across operating systems, middleware, applications, containers, and cloud services.
• Prioritize remediation based on risk context and clearly communicate plans, status, and blockers.
• Coordinate change execution with technology teams managing scheduling and dependencies.
• Troubleshoot remediation issues such as failed patches and dependency conflicts.
• Create and maintain remediation runbooks, standard operating procedures, and repeating patterns.
• Track remediation metrics and support continuous improvements focused on speed, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with security and platform teams to optimize scan quality, reduce false positives, and streamline vulnerability lifecycle processes.
