DevOps Engineer (Azure)

• At least 6 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior role managing Azure and Kubernetes environments.
• Strong commercial experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container networking.
• Strong knowledge of Ansible, ARM Templates, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Advanced knowledge of Git, including branching strategies and merge policies.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, VNET integration, load balancing, and cloud security boundaries.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and cloud security principles.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification (AZ-104).
• Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification (AZ-400).
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Application Developer certification (CKA/CKAD).

• Design, configure, and maintain production-grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and ARM Templates.
• Automate configuration management using Ansible and Ansible Tower.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, merge policies, and access controls.
• Create automation scripts using PowerShell or Python.
• Configure Azure networking, including VNETs, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, VPNs, and routing.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot application failures, networking issues, and deployment problems.
• Implement DevSecOps practices in cooperation with development, QA, and security teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
