Senior Software Engineer, Agent Development Kit

Google develops next-generation technologies impacting billions of users worldwide, focusing on diverse areas including artificial intelligence, distributed systems, and large-scale system design. The role involves designing and building the core implementation of the Agent Development Kit (ADK), a robust and scalable framework for AI agents, within Google Cloud — a platform serving customers in over 200 countries and territories with enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, Objective C, JavaScript, or Go.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), or conversational AI systems in AI agents or agentic frameworks.
• Experience with AI, LLMs, Trust and Safety, and adversarial testing of GenAI products.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, products, and the market landscape.

• Design and implement Agent Development Kit (ADK) in Go.
• Work closely with customers to onboard them to the ADK and the GenAI ecosystem.
• Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
