Senior Java Developer/Tech Lead – Microservices

The role is for a client in the energy sector, focusing on the development and advancement of critical backend systems related to energy infrastructure.

• Minimum 5 years of professional Java programming experience (Java 8+), with at least 3 years working with Java 17+.
• Extensive experience leading technical teams in backend development for 2+ years.
• Strong expertise with Apache Kafka and Apache Camel (Expert level).
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot (Expert level) and microservices architecture in containerized environments.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as Oracle DB 19c and ORM tools like Hibernate.
• Familiarity with version control systems (GitLab), build tools (Maven), and testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience working with the Unicorn ecosystem (ECP/EDX) APIs and channels.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, software responsibility, and timely task execution.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively in teams, and communicate clearly in Polish and English (Communicative level).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python.
• Basic understanding of Linux systems.

• Define and support technical tasks within the backend development team, ensuring best practices and high-quality delivery.
• Recognize, verify, and plan the evolution of technology stacks for the Connector 2.0 project.
• Lead the implementation of new technologies across project teams, providing training and mentorship to team members.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain system architecture in the backend layer, ensuring scalability and robustness.
• Program functionalities and conduct tests to deliver reliable software solutions, adhering to deadlines and specifications.
