Senior Credit Risk and Lending IT Business Analyst

Our client is a leading entity in the financial services industry, located in Kraków, offering a hybrid work model.

• Minimum 7 years as an IT Business Analyst in financial services with strong credit risk and lending process knowledge.
• Practical understanding of the credit lifecycle: origination, analysis, decisioning, monitoring, reporting.
• Experience delivering technology, data, automation, or AI-enabled solutions from framing to implementation.
• Collaboration experience with software engineering and data teams on data flows, system integrations, or analytics.
• Skilled in requirements engineering: stakeholder interviews, workshops, process modeling, data analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications.
• Ability to understand complex business rules and data dependencies and communicate them clearly.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Hands-on Agile methodologies experience in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments.
• Proactive workspace management and ownership of outcomes from discovery to delivery.

Nice to have:

• Certifications in Business Analysis or Agile methodologies.
• Experience working within financial regulation frameworks.

• Lead structured discovery sessions with business stakeholders, product owners, data specialists, and engineering teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Translate credit and lending problems into clear business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process models.
• Define and document current and target state processes across origination, analysis, decisioning, monitoring, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for technology, data, automation, and AI solutions to enhance risk management and operational performance.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data specialists, and product owners to create detailed requirements for technology and data solutions.
• Contribute to solution evaluation, readiness, rollout, and continuous improvement including AI capabilities.
• Analyze data flows, business rules, controls, and dependencies, validating solutions with technical teams.
• Act as senior liaison between business and technology teams, resolving ambiguities and supporting decision-making.
• Challenge requirements constructively, assess trade-offs, and ensure solutions address core business problems.
• Support Agile practices via backlog management, refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Facilitate solution validation, user acceptance testing, implementation, and adoption.
• Ensure solutions comply with internal control standards, data governance, security, and regulatory obligations.
