AWS Node.js Backend Developer

Accenture is a leading global professional services company specializing in helping businesses, governments, and organizations build digital core systems, optimize operations, and accelerate growth. The role is within the Communication, Media & Technology practice, delivering projects in telecommunications, media, and technology sectors across Poland and Europe.

• Proven hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3.
• Strong backend development experience using Node.js and/or Python.
• Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with IoT platforms, connected device ecosystems, MQTT, or AWS IoT Core.
• Experience supporting and operating production systems in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and AWS managed services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Jenkins.

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native backend applications and services on AWS, supporting enterprise-scale IoT solutions.
• Build and enhance scalable APIs and backend components using Node.js and/or Python while applying microservices and distributed systems principles.
• Manage cloud infrastructure through Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Drive system reliability, monitoring, troubleshooting, automated testing, and CI/CD improvements.
