• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, and EKS.
• Solid development experience with Node.js and/or Python.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Understanding of system scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with IoT platforms, AWS IoT Core, MQTT, or connected device ecosystems.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures.
• Experience supporting production cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications in AWS.
• Build and enhance APIs and microservices using Node.js and/or Python.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Ensure reliability, performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud and application layers.
• Contribute to IoT platform development and connected device integrations.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing, monitoring, and best practices.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
