Senior Full Stack Developer – Java, Spring, APIs

This role is for a leading player in the financial industry focused on enhancing client connectivity. The position is based in Kraków and offers a hybrid work model with up to 3 remote days per week.

• 6+ years of software development experience in Waterfall and Agile environments.
• Strong back-end skills with Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, SonarQube, and Ansible.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as JUnit.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD), and Agile Control Framework.
• Proven mentorship and leadership abilities.

Nice to have:

• Front-end development experience.
• Exposure to Spring Cloud and/or MuleSoft.
• Development with Seeburger BIS, EDI, or related technologies.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience in production support and service reliability improvement.

• Translate strategic objectives into robust technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Own end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of software features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile and Waterfall delivery processes.
• Identify and reduce technical debt to foster technical excellence.
• Work with stakeholders and solution architects to clarify requirements and ensure architectural alignment.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and operational readiness.
• Engage in support activities including incident investigation and problem management.
