Solution Architect (Java & Cloud) [M/F]

Stackmine is looking for a Senior Solution Architect / Java & Cloud Architect to co-develop key IT systems in the property insurance domain. The role involves architectural responsibility combined with practical knowledge of Java and Spring technologies, focusing on transforming a monolithic solution into a scalable, resilient, modern microservice architecture operating in a private cloud environment.

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing, or overseeing IT system architecture.
• Very good practical knowledge of Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and developing distributed and microservice systems.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and integration patterns.
• Practical experience with cloud and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture.
• Practical knowledge of API Governance.
• Experience designing and implementing end-to-end observability.
• Ability to conduct code reviews, mentoring, and architectural workshops.
• Experience co-creating technology roadmaps and risk assessment.
• Ability to communicate architectural decisions to technical teams and business stakeholders.
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.

• Co-create and program changes in the Everest system supporting property insurance.
• Design and develop IT system architectures.
• Create and implement migration strategies from monolithic to microservice architectures.
• Design solutions based on private cloud and cloud-native technologies.
• Co-develop vision and directions for technological architecture development.
• Prepare and co-create technology roadmaps.
• Identify, prioritize, and manage technical debt.
• Analyze technology risks and assess feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Support development teams in making architectural and technical decisions.
• Conduct technical consultations, architectural workshops, and code reviews.
• Mentor team members in architecture, system design, and best practices.
• Support design and documentation of system architectures.
• Develop and implement technological and architectural standards.
• Ensure architectural consistency across solutions developed by various teams.
• Collaborate on the implementation of new technologies.
• Support development of DevOps practices and improvement of software development processes.
