Senior AWS Cloud Engineer – DevOps & Automation

This role is for ITDS, a provider of cloud adoption and digital transformation services. The position is based in Krakow with a hybrid work model, supporting global project teams and focusing on AWS cloud infrastructure automation and security.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python, AWS services, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
• Extensive experience working across various AWS services with a security-focused approach.
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proven success in enterprise infrastructure deployment and management.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps methodologies and Agile practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Terraform.
• Non-functional testing expertise.
• Knowledge of risk management and compliance in regulated industries.

• Lead major incident investigations, provide on-call support, and manage projects with junior colleagues.
• Collaborate with application teams to deploy solutions on AWS.
• Develop automation and infrastructure scripts primarily in Python and Terraform.
• Automate routine tasks and develop scalable solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Enhance security controls through scripting and infrastructure management.
• Maintain and improve compliance dashboards to meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide 24/7 global support with rotational shifts, balancing support and development activities.
• Support upgrade and development of AWS security features and best practices.
