PEGA Lead System Architect

Jit Team is a Polish IT company with over 770 experienced experts, providing innovative IT solutions and supporting educational and charitable initiatives. The client is a leading financial group in the Nordic countries with a global presence, employing over 200 Jit personnel on more than 60 projects, featuring a Scandinavian culture emphasizing work-life balance and international teams.

• Certified Pega Lead System Architect (must-have)
• 5+ years of experience in SDLC
• 3+ years experience architecting and designing Pega solutions
• Experience designing enterprise-class structure and foundational components
• Experience integrating enterprise applications with Pega solutions
• Working knowledge of BPMN (mandatory) and UML (mandatory)
• Process thinking skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the banking industry, especially credit processes

1. Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

• Conduct workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to gather requirements
• Translate needs into Pega-specific solution designs including case lifecycle, data models, UI
• Maintain requirements traceability
• Collaborate with product owners and analysts to prioritize backlog and define acceptance criteria

2. Pega Workflow Design & Development:

• Design and implement case management workflows with Pega Case Designer
• Configure business rules, decision tables, trees, and when rules
• Build and maintain data models aligned with business requirements
• Develop UI layers
• Apply Pega guardrails and best practices

3. Integrations:

• Design and implement integrations with external systems
• Configure data mapping, request/response transformations, and error handling
• Align on API Data Delivery Agreements
• Implement robustness patterns like retry logic, circuit breakers, timeout handling

4. Architecture & Technical Leadership:

• Define and govern overall Pega application architecture aligned with enterprise standards
• Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior developers
• Manage application layering and reuse patterns

5. Quality & Delivery:

• Produce technical documentation including solution designs and deployment guides
• Coordinate with DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration using Pega Deployment Manager or equivalent

Required to work onsite 3 days per week in office locations: Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź.
