PEGA Lead System Architect

• Certified Pega Lead System Architect.
• Over 5 years of experience in SDLC.
• At least 3 years architecting and designing Pega solutions.
• Experience designing enterprise class structure and foundational components.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications with Pega solutions.
• Working knowledge of BPMN and UML (mandatory).
• Process thinking mindset.

1. Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

• Conduct workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Translate business needs into Pega-specific solution designs.
• Maintain requirements traceability.
• Collaborate with product owners and business analysts.

2. Pega Workflow Design & Development:

• Design and implement case management workflows using Pega's Case Designer.
• Configure business rules and decision logic.
• Build and maintain data models aligned with business requirements.
• Develop UI layers and apply Pega best practices.

3. Integrations:

• Design and implement integrations with external systems.
• Configure data mapping, transformations, and error handling.
• Align on API Data Delivery Agreements.
• Implement robustness patterns like retry logic and circuit breakers.

4. Architecture & Technical Leadership:

• Define and govern Pega application architecture.
• Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Manage application layering and reuse patterns.

5. Quality & Delivery:

• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Coordinate with DevOps on CI/CD pipeline integration using Pega Deployment Manager or similar tooling.
