Senior Backend / Fullstack Developer

Leading Global Consulting Company with an international product team working within the Customer Data Management domain. The team designs, develops and operates scalable services integrating customer-facing applications, CRM platforms, and internal services.

• Several years of professional software development experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring.
• Strong practical experience with Apache Kafka in production environments.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs and system integrations.
• Solid experience with software architecture and system design.
• Good understanding of event-driven architectures, asynchronous communication and distributed systems.
• Practical experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
• Knowledge of cloud engineering best practices, including Infrastructure as Code and cloud security.
• Strong DevOps mindset and experience taking responsibility for applications after deployment.
• Experience working with CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting and production environments.
• Strong ownership mentality and a hands-on approach to software engineering.
• Very good English communication skills, as you will work in an international environment.

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java and/or Kotlin with Spring.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations between customer-facing applications, CRM platforms and other enterprise systems.
• Work extensively with Apache Kafka to support event-driven communication and real-time data exchange.
• Design and develop solutions based on distributed and event-driven architectures.
• Contribute to software architecture, system design and technical decision-making.
• Develop and operate cloud-native solutions running on AWS.
• Apply cloud engineering best practices, including Infrastructure as Code, cloud security, automation and observability.
• Take end-to-end ownership of developed services, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and production support.
• Work according to a DevOps-oriented “you build it, you run it” approach.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, product teams, and other technical stakeholders in an international environment.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure and reliable throughout their lifecycle.

Nice to have:

• Experience with JavaScript and Angular.
• Experience integrating with Salesforce APIs.
