Senior Java Developer

Euvic S.A. is a large IT company with over 5000 employees and 20 years of experience. The company develops software for one of the largest parcel locker network operators in Europe, used daily by millions of users. The team works fully remotely within Poland and uses Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

• Experience in a Senior Software Engineer role.
• High level of independence in task execution.
• Very good knowledge of Java, JEE, and Spring.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Practical knowledge of Kafka.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and Argo.
• Knowledge of SOAP and REST integrations.
• Experience creating tests with JUnit.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch and Dynatrace.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to refine requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams.

• Design, implement, deploy, maintain, and document software solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams responsible for interconnected services.
• Work with complex distributed systems processing millions of events.
• Participate in requirements refinement and problem-solving.
• Create production code and automated tests using JUnit.
• Conduct testing and deployments.
• Maintain and support systems, including participation in on-call duties.
• Create solution and process documentation.
• Participate in project meetings.
• Work according to Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Engage in the full project lifecycle from design and implementation to deployment, maintenance, and documentation.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in an international and interdisciplinary environment.
• Experience developing software for logistics or e-commerce industries.

The first day of work requires on-site presence in Gliwice. Identity verification will be required at later stages of the recruitment process. Work is 100% remote from Poland afterward.
