Developer Relations Engineer (Java or Kotlin or Node.js)

Verita HR is an international company providing recruitment support within the Fintech, Finance, and Banking markets in EMEA. They connect innovative organizations with top talent and conduct systematic market research to stay ahead of the competition. The position involves building a new internal application development platform for a leading global bank, serving around 30,000 developers, with extensive stakeholder interaction. The role is part of an international team of 8 people and offers work on stable, long-term projects in hybrid mode from Kraków and flexible working hours.

• Strong hands-on development skills in Java, Kotlin, or Node.js
• Proven experience building and delivering engineering assets such as templates, automation, reference implementations, onboarding materials, or developer tooling
• Practical understanding of developer experience including standardisation and automation
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior management and large developer audiences
• Ability to write clear technical content (documentation, how-to guides, examples) for large audiences
• Production mindset covering security, resilience, observability, and supportability
• Self-driven approach and strong collaboration skills across multiple teams

• Build and maintain golden-path templates and reusable patterns to accelerate onboarding and reduce variation across teams
• Deliver reference implementations based on internal projects for direct adoption
• Improve self-service onboarding to enable large-scale adoption
• Run and support feedback channels including office hours and communication platforms
• Turn developer pain points into shipped improvements by building fixes or driving resolution through owning teams
• Write and improve platform documentation as part of launch criteria and Definition of Done
• Collaborate with product, engineering, architecture, and risk/control teams to ensure guidance is accurate, compliant, and practical
