DevOps Engineer

Shiji Group provides software solutions and services for hospitality, food service, retail and entertainment industries. Founded in 1998, it employs 5,000 people in over 80 subsidiaries and brands, serving over 91,000 hotels, 200,000 restaurants, and 600,000 retail outlets. The Daylight PMS is a distributed system serving the hospitality industry with domain-oriented microservices developed by cross-functional teams.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar DevOps role and at least 5 years in IT
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• AWS networking and security experience
• Scripting skills in bash and/or PowerShell
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Proactive attitude and continuous improvement mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience with high availability (HA) systems

• Collaborate with development teams to understand needs and provide operational support
• Maintain and monitor application environments across different AWS regions
• Implement and manage infrastructure changes with Terraform
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
• Participate in incident management and resolve operational issues
