Senior Security Consultant (f/m/x)

Sii is seeking an experienced Senior Security Consultant to support their entry into the Chinese market as a provider of cloud solutions and software products. The role involves navigating complex regulatory and business landscapes in China, ensuring compliance with local cybersecurity, data protection, and cloud operation regulations. The position offers a fully remote work environment, enabling collaboration with cross-functional teams worldwide.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and compliance roles
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance regulations, especially regarding cloud services
• Good understanding of the Chinese regulatory landscape, including data localization and privacy laws
• Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure China
• Proven ability to integrate legal, compliance, privacy, security, and technical aspects into market entry strategies
• Advanced English language proficiency

• Assess regulatory, cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance requirements for digital products and cloud services in China
• Advise on appropriate operating models, hosting options, and cloud architecture approaches
• Define compliance and security requirements ensuring adherence to global standards and corporate governance
• Identify risks, regulatory constraints, and challenges related to market entry and develop mitigation strategies
• Support stakeholder alignment across business, legal, compliance, privacy, security, and technology domains
• Develop a practical roadmap and recommendations for effective and compliant market entry implementation in China
• Facilitate discussions and provide recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
• Guide the organization through the entire market entry process, including identifying required legal entities and regulatory obligations
