C++ Developer – Embedded / IoT (f/m/x)

Sii is seeking a C++ Embedded Developer to join an international team developing software for next-generation heating systems, including heat pumps and Smart Home solutions. The project combines traditional heating technologies with modern IoT solutions to improve energy efficiency and user convenience. The team is responsible for developing embedded software for controlling heating systems and device communication within the ecosystem, working in Agile methodology with a focus on code quality, test automation, and continuous integration. The work model is hybrid, requiring presence at the Katowice office 6 days per month.

• Very good knowledge of C++ (object-oriented programming)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded software development on Embedded Linux
• Previous work with embedded systems
• Knowledge of the SOME/IP communication protocol or similar
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Google Test
• Experience working in Agile methodologies
• Proficient in English or German language
• Must reside in Poland and have fluent Polish language skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Knowledge of Simulink (from MathWorks)
• Experience with Robot Framework or Python for system testing

• Develop and maintain embedded software in C++ (on Embedded Linux) for heating control systems
• Collaborate with architects and teams to develop and extend software architecture
• Integrate system components using the SOME/IP communication protocol
• Create unit tests using Google Test and ensure code quality and stability
• Support system testing using Robot Framework and Python
• Participate in Agile team activities, including sprint planning and goal achievement
• Collaborate with international engineering teams
