Manual Tester with Murex Platform Knowledge (f/m/x)

Sii is Poland's largest Testing Service Center created by testers for testers, recognized as a Great Place to Work. The long-term project is with a leading client from the banking sector, based on the Murex MX.3 platform, an integrated solution supporting the entire transaction lifecycle in capital markets, including trading, risk management, post-trade processing, and settlements. The project is executed in an Agile environment and offered 100% remotely with occasional team meetings in Poznań, Wrocław, or Warsaw.

• At least 3 years of software testing experience
• Experience working with the Murex MX.3 platform
• Good knowledge of SQL, including query writing and data analysis
• Experience testing APIs and backend systems
• Experience with integration and end-to-end testing
• Knowledge of ISTQB Foundation Level concepts
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Ability to create test scenarios, cases, and technical documentation
• Good communication skills, assertiveness, ability to work under pressure, and good work organization

Nice to have:

• Experience with Murex MX.3 or other trade/risk management systems
• Knowledge of financial instruments (derivatives, FX, fixed income securities, structured products) and transaction lifecycle
• Understanding of valuation, risk management, collateral management, and settlement processes
• Familiarity with data exchange formats such as XML, FIX, and SWIFT
• Knowledge of Java and experience with Selenium/Selenide and RestAssured
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
• Knowledge of capital market regulations including EMIR, MiFID II, and Basel framework

• Analyze requirements and design test cases
• Execute test scenarios on the Murex MX.3 platform
• Verify and validate data at the database level and across front-, middle-, and back-office modules
• Conduct integration, end-to-end, API, and backend tests
• Report and track defects
• Prepare test reports and documentation
• Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of business processes
