B2B Project - IngestOps

Hays Contracting Services offers a B2B collaboration, recruiting a contractor for Data Operations and data platform services for a banking sector client. The project focuses on data integration and ingestion processes within a Big Data environment. The role operates in a hybrid model in Gdańsk, Gdynia, Warsaw, or Łódź with 2-3 days in the office and lasts 6 months with possible extension.

• Minimum 3-4 years experience in a similar role
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Very good proficiency in SQL
• Very good knowledge of Linux / Unix systems
• Practical knowledge of Git
• Practical knowledge of Jenkins
• Analytical thinking and problem diagnosis skills
• Experience in troubleshooting and incident handling
• Experience working with applications and system configurations
• Communicative proficiency in English (B2+)

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Hadoop
• Knowledge of Robot Framework
• Experience in testing areas
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or Helix
• Basic knowledge of Python

• Maintain data ingestion processes into the Hadoop environment
• Configure and support data integration processes
• Analyze and resolve issues related to data flow
• Verify data quality and correctness using SQL
• Work with code repositories using Git
• Support automation and deployments using Jenkins
• Collaborate with technical teams responsible for the data platform
• Work with various applications and system configurations
