Senior Ads Solutions Engineer, gTech

Google's Ads Solutions Engineering team develops innovative engineering solutions to accelerate customer and partner growth globally, delivering exceptional ads experiences in the Global Business Organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6 years experience with client-side web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP.
• 6 years coding experience in one or more programming languages including Java, C++, and Python.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Experience in analytical roles like business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience with cloud technologies in architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions and cloud data engineering.
• Experience using machine learning and building related solutions.
• Experience working with systems like Linux and Unix.

• Collect requirements, provide guidance, and best practices for ad products and technologies.
• Scope, design, and build reusable solutions and best practices at a global level.
• Adapt existing bespoke ads solutions from regional teams into scalable global solutions.
• Own the solution lifecycle including discovery, launch, maintenance, feature requests, and deprecation for a portfolio of solutions.
