Senior Data Engineer

AVENGA is recruiting for an experienced Data Engineer to join their Data Product Team within the Master Data Management (MDM) unit. The role focuses on provisioning data from master data customer and product systems and involves working with large-scale data processing solutions.

• Several years of relevant experience in designing data products and data warehouse solutions
• Expert knowledge in design and development of large-scale data processing solutions using Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake
• Expert proficiency in Python and SQL languages
• Very good understanding of technology choices, cost impact, and trade-offs for data storage, processing and provisioning in Azure
• Strong knowledge in developing data solutions in Azure

• Design data products and data warehouse solutions, including logical and physical design for data loading and transformations
• Develop and maintain large-scale data processing solutions using Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake or equivalents
• Provision data from master data customer and product systems

• Competence in master data management tools and practices
• Competence in developing and maintaining APIs
