Senior GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure & Security

Our client is a leading financial services organization focused on delivering resilient and scalable cloud solutions.

• At least 5 years of experience building cloud services, preferably on GCP
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with networking within cloud environments (VPCs, XPN, etc.)
• Knowledge of security and compliance tools such as IAM, OAuth, and cloud monitoring solutions
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, or Scala
• Proven track record of driving improvements and implementing change effectively
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly

Nice to have:

• Certifications in GCP, DevOps, Security, or related fields

• Build and manage the GCP foundation platform to enable application deployments
• Engineer solutions on GCP using Infrastructure As Code approaches (e.g., Terraform)
• Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage central cloud services such as IAM, networking, logging, OS, and containers
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance policies, including cloud security standards and auditing tools
• Implement operational risk standards covering network, firewall, OS, logging, monitoring, and resiliency
• Maintain and update operational documentation and support knowledge base
• Follow change management practices as per central standards
• Provide out-of-hours support on a rotational basis, ensuring 24×7 coverage for operational continuity
