Senior Java Full Stack Developer – IT Services and Cloud Integration

This role is for a global financial services leader in the banking sector, focused on building cutting-edge banking solutions to support growth and operational excellence. The position is based in Kraków and offers a hybrid work model.

• Over 6 years of experience in software development in Waterfall and Agile environments.
• Strong back-end expertise with Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, and Ansible.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as JUnit.
• Proven ability to mentor team members and uphold engineering standards.

Nice to have:

• Front-end development experience.
• Exposure to Spring Cloud, MuleSoft, and SeeBurger BIS/E-DI.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and containerization with Docker.
• Background in production support, incident management, and service reliability improvement.

• Translate Group and Wholesale banking strategies into robust technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Take ownership of the full software lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Support delivery planning and execution within Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Reduce technical debt and improve system performance and resilience.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and Solution Architects to clarify requirements and shape architectures.
• Provide mentorship through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and operational monitoring.
• Participate in support activities such as incident investigation, problem management, and root cause analysis.
