Business Analyst

Position at one of the world’s largest banks within large-scale transformation programmes in the financial services sector, focusing on data, regulatory, compliance, and privacy-related initiatives.

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst within large-scale transformation programmes
• Strong understanding of data management principles, including data storage controls, data integrity, data lineage, and data movement
• Experience working within the financial services sector, ideally on data, regulatory, compliance, or privacy-related initiatives
• Proven expertise in business process analysis, process mapping, and requirements management
• Strong experience conducting workshops and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to create clear and comprehensive business and functional documentation
• Experience working closely with Solution Architects, Technology teams, and business stakeholders
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies; SAFe certification is desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience supporting testing, business readiness, training, and change implementation activities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, reporting, and data analysis
• Ability to work effectively within a complex global matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Lead business analysis activities across Data Privacy and Data Governance initiatives
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions to elicit and validate requirements
• Analyze and map current and target state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization
• Assess data-related processes focusing on data storage controls, data integrity, data lineage, and data movement
• Produce high-quality business analysis artifacts including business requirements documents, user stories, process maps, functional specifications, and solution documentation
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technology teams, and Business stakeholders to design and deliver effective solutions
• Support Agile delivery teams through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements clarification
