IT Business Analyst

The Krakow-based team is part of a small IT department of around 70 people located in London, India and Poland. The project delivers a single dashboard for Front Office trading supervisors. The platform gathers control data from various global sources, processes it through workflows, and presents it in a user-friendly portal used in over 50 countries. The company is the largest bank in Europe operating in more than 65 countries.

• 5+ years experience as an IT business analyst in the financial industry
• Understanding of investment banking products, PnL, Market and Credit Risk
• Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle; experience with agile projects and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Solid understanding of complex IT systems landscape; experience defining interfaces and messaging protocols is an advantage
• Advanced SQL and Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills
• Experience managing projects spanning multiple systems and teams
• Experience with conduct or regulatory environments is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Conduct current state analysis and to-be impact analysis
• Translate business requirements from Product Owner into clear agile technical user stories
• Collaborate with technologists to drive delivery within an agile framework
• Utilize BDD and testing experience
• Understand workflows and data warehousing
• Perform data analysis, mapping, and modelling
• Uphold work ethos and principles established in the BA community for the program
• Work closely with BA community and engineering team
• Maintain full understanding of business & IT strategy, current practices, and system capabilities
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-up, planning, and reviews

Recruitment process consists of 2 online meetings with hiring managers followed by a phone screen with the recruiter. Hybrid work requires presence 2 days per week in the Kraków office.
