Backend Java Developer (Payments Services)

Work for the largest bank in Europe, which operates in more than 65 countries worldwide and has access to over 90% of all world trade flows. Verita HR is an international company providing recruitment support within the fintech, finance, and banking markets in EMEA.

• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Java, Kubernetes, Docker, Groovy, Kafka, bash, Jenkins

Nice to have:

• CI/CD experience

• English language required

• Create and update API/micro(nano)service design and documentation
• Deliver quality code to support customer journeys
• Embrace new technologies and champion their use
• Review and sign off user stories and low level design
• Perform code reviews ensuring coding standards and architecture alignment
• Resolve blockers for developers
• Communicate progress and blockers with tech architects and management
• Coordinate with Scrum Leads and Test QAs regarding pipeline requirements and quality gates
• Own and arrange code review with management team
• Create production support walkthrough and release checklist documents
